Swap is complete at Gifford and now the boys are scampering for home after inspection
reveals that automatic warning device at MP212+2900' is safe.
Enough power for two trains on this one. 102 and 140, 704 and 435LHF with IM and empties
real neat.

Taking a Form T and told to drag across Roseland Road while Tony waits at the swap point in
Gifford. No maintainer to help them, thankfully I could only hear one side of the radio
conversation.
Thirteen thousand foot long train led by 100 and 106 with racks ahead of the IM and two long
strings of company empties being balanced. Doubling this train must have been a chore with
those five neat cuts.

Red protect light is on above the junction as Mark is waving white from the far side of the cab of 100 and 106 with all IM. Train was delayed earlier, now they are running about 50mph. Plenty of empty wells being balanced.

On April 25, 2013 FECRS members hosted an afternoon-evening train watching session. Joining in on the fun were Tom and Kim Byrne, Jim and Sheri Kovalsky, Robert and Eileen Harris, SignalMan Bo, Brian Sherman, Frank Connell and cabooseMikey.
There were cameras whirring from high above and under the trains, too. What a great spot to enjoy those great trains.
